Message There was no union at Lieman Brothers, Fanie Mae, or many of the other companies that were/are on the ropes. GM, Ford, Chrysler are victums of a huge leadership vacuum that has been plagueing the USA and most of west for the last 20 years. The lack of regualtions also leaves the market place without direction. Japan had a policy of 3.0 litre engine displacment as a max for quite some time. Consider all the tecnology that came out of that limit. The design of Nissan, Toyota or Mitubishi head because of the displacement limit is amazing. Just consider the power, economy and driveabiliy the Japanese got from a 3.0 liter engine and imagine if the 3.0 litre limit challenge was not in place. We'd never have a TTZ capable of 700+ hp.
